G's Fresh Beetroot - March
G's Fresh Beetroot moved to its existing site in 2001. Based at the Hostmoor Avenue Industrial Estate in March, Cambridgeshire, the factory is close to our main Fenland growing region.

Our British beetroot is mostly sourced from G's Growers Ltd; most of it is grown in the deep, rich, black fenland soils of the Isle of Ely. Beetroot is also grown for us in the Isle of Axholme in north Lincolnshire, and in Lancashire.
We import from our growers in Spain, Portugal and Italy for our out-of-season production.
Our site is audited and approved by:
- BRC (British Retail Consortium)
- Soil Association
We also adhere to the customer-specific protocols of Natures Choice and Field to Fork and other major retailers' standards.
Products
- Vacuum packed beetroot: long-life pure beetroot, vinegar- and additive-free
- Fresh cooked vinegar-dipped beetroot: mild malt vinegar flavour
- Flavoured recipe beetroot infused with complimentary flavours: using wine vinegars, orange blossom honey and natural infusions, e.g. 'Sweetfire®'
People
Up to 130 people are employed on site in our summer season.
We are 'Investors In People' Bronze standard-accredited, committed to training and personnel development and driving towards Lean Manufacturing.
In 2011 we were delighted to receive the Innovation and Design Award at The Manufacturer of the Year Awards.
